We offer full service boarding, including training, lessons, deluxe retirement/ semi-retirement board, and specialized rehab board.
Full Board Rate: $1050/ month Full board rate includes full care board as well as 2 lessons/ training rides/ ground work sessions/ grooming sessions/ rehab sessons per week. Any combination of the above 2 sessions is included in monthly rate. Additional sessions are available and can be added and charged as needed. Full care board includes: 2x daily grain and hay, daily turn-out (weather permitting), and daily stall/ shed cleaning. On-site, 24/7 supervision. |

Training and lessons for you and/ or your horse is available at Smokey Hollow Farm. All riders and horses of any ages, levels, and disciplines are welcomed. Our specialty is working with adult amateurs who have the desire to learn while enjoying time with their horses and our other lovely clients. Cathy has the seasoned skill that allows her to assess each horse and rider, and design a personalized training program to bring out their best. Our complete education program also offers showing in hunter/ jumpers, dressage, and eventing, but showing is not our focus and is not required.
Deluxe full service, customized retirement/ semi-retirement/ rehab board is one of our specialties. Your beloved equine will be loved and cared for like a member of our family. Our retirement board is perfect for horses that need more care than the typical retirement situation where horses are turned out in a large herd. Here we strive for each horse to live as naturally as possible, but we can provide individual or semi- private turnouts, large run-in sheds, stalls when necessary, free choice or limited grass, and a variety of other special care needs. We can provide grooming, light exercise if desired, and attend to any special medical needs. Each horse 's needs are assessed and attended to on an individual basis. Rehab board is offered depending on specific needs. |

LESSONS
|
Cathy offers riding lessons for riders of all ages and levels. She has extensive experience teaching and coaching, and has a knack for knowing when students are ready to move up successfully. While building their confidence and instilling correct basics, she has taught and produced many accomplished riders. Cathy also offers coaching at shows. School horses are sometimes available for riders for dressage and jumping lessons. Trailer- in lessons on your own horse are always welcome.
Current Lesson Rates: $50 for a 30-40 minute private lesson. $5 extra for local lessons off farm (limited availability). Clinics also available on and off farm. Inquire for clinic rates. Riding/ Coaching at Shows: $50/ day |
